OBD0 LS swap into 91 LX Civic
Hello Members, I have a question to ask, Im going to be helping a buddy swap an OBD0 LS motor into his 91 Civic LX, (which is DPFI ) now he has everything needed for this swap, motor, tranny, and wire harness from the OBD0 LS motor, now with that OBD0 harness do we still need to wire MPFI or no ?? he has the stock injector box that came with the motor, which should just clip into the stock LS harness. I have done several swaps before, like an OBD1 LS motor into an OBD1 Integra, and several stock D series swaps, but no swaps from a D series to B series, any info would be very helpful.
Thank you
Thank you
using the obd0 engine harness from the integra won't work. you need to covert the engine and body harness from the civc from dpfi to mpfi. and don't get to confused with the whole d to be series swap. just think of it as a big d series caruse that's all it really is. pretty much just 1 extra cam, that's all.
