Default Anyone know how to....

How to disconnect that damn dinger for the seatbelt? My passenger's side keeps going off even if there is nothing in the seat. I know it is probably a ground issue, but i just want to unplug it anyway! I tried to search for it but that didnt help much. I have a 91' Civic Si hatch.

In the center under the heater controls, there is a lil black box with 2 plugs on it. There is one of those lil plastic screws that hold the cover on, remove it, and disconnect the green harness, that will stop the warning and light.

My car doesnt have that. I have a 91 Civic Si. Well i looked under the seat and found some sort of plug connection, so i unplugged it. Hopefully that will work. cus i looked under the heater motor and all i saw was the wiring for the motor.

that'll do it. That's the plug for your seat belts under there, so you're good to go. I disconnected mine a long time ago
