alright so i got the new part today and before i tore everything apart i plugged in the new part to see if it made a difference it didnt does any one no if you have to have the part inside of the heater box for it to work just wanted to no before i went threw all the trouble of taking the heater box apart. Dont no if it helps any but with the old one in i can only use the last two speeds and if i have it wide open and go in reverse on the speeds i can use the last 4 speeds.
