heater problem

Default heater problem

hey i have a 92 civic coupe ex.and the problem is the heater is not working,i use to have a gsr motor in it nd the heater worked perfect.then i swapped out my gsr and threw in my z6 turbo and now the heater does not work just blows cold anyone know what could be the problem?

Under the dash there is a cable running from the A/C controls to the heater valve. Check for a cable that isn't connected to anything. If it has come off its peg, simply reattach it.

forgot i made this thread.but yea i checked that wire that goes into the engine bay and its connected.what else should i just for?cause its getting pretty dam cold around here

engine temps goes a little under half way on the gauge

when you slide the slider, see if the heater valve under the hood (near the firewall, in the middle of 2 heater hoses) is opening and closing... it could be stuck or something.

I'm really not sure of what it could be then. Hopefully someone will come along who knows the answer.

found out the problem.there was something stuck in the hose that goes into the heater core.so now i have heat!! thanks for your help guys
