i went in to get my brakes examined since ive been hearing noises.
They took a look at the rear brakes.
I got home and I couldn't pull the ebrake handle all the way up.
Infact i have to use a lot of force to pull it up one or two clicks.
how could i fix this problem?

 

car have rear disc? if so when they inspected them did they attempt to push in the rear calipers and maybe got the pins on the pads not lined up with the caliper pistons?

just a thought.

there are two cables coming up to the E-brake handle under the plastic they come to one thing w/ a 12mm bout ... you can loosen it and try it out... its an adajustment for the e-brake handell... sorry for the spelling...i hope this helps..

 

The brake shoes are probably adjusted too high, or perhaps the cables are rusted and not sliding properly.
