I recently bought a 2003 honda accord the cd player works fine but the radio does not work on either the AM or FM. We have already checked the connection and nothing seems to be wrong. The sound I receive is just static. I would appreciate any ideas on possible ways to fix it. or if anyone has had this same problem. Thank you.

 

Are you sure the antenna is fastened? Look for an RCA plug that comes out of the back of the radio, you may need to follow it to the physical location of the antenna on the quarter panel. Make sure your radio is properly grounded to

 

Thanks for your reply. This is a 2003 Honda Accord and they do not have a regular antenna like other cars. It seems the antenna are the lines on that run horizontally along the back windshield. Where will I find the connection to the antenna there?
