i had the zex set-up in my 98 coupe with a b16, and short story is I fried the rings, i would upgrade the pump to walbro 255lph, my local napa sold me a edlebrock pump for like 80bucks when i opened up the package the pump was stamped walbro.
Ps. changed the pump after i used the zex

yea well we got a fuel pump on the way and the local performance shop around here told me that no tuning is neccassary he said just put the new fuel pump and your good to run it
I ran a Zex kit with a stock fuel pump fine. YOU DO HAVE TO RETARD THE TIMING ANYTHING AFTER A 55 SHOT. CHECK THE ZEX WEBSITE!!!!! Not trying to yell but i dont want you to run stock timing blow it up and be like " i dont know why it went up. they told me i didnt have to retard the timing". Make sure you get colder plugs too.

k thx and about the yelling maybe i need it k yea i driving tommorow to pick up the fuel pump and then i will put it in and i will get my timing retarted zex told me that the best air/fuel ration would be 12.5
i put an 80 shot of NOS on my little bros 98 civic h/b with a B16a2 ... and it ran fine... it was on his car for about 2 1/2 weeks... as long as your are carefull and don't spray to high of an RPM you will have fun... i put on my air/fuel meater in his car so he can see if its leaning out at higher rpm's ... witch is BAD... try it out... a 65 shot will be fine... just be carefull...and dont over reve... wile spraying... HAVE FUN.....
thx guys you all are so nice i go to the all motor section anf get my *** roasted
what do yall think of me running stock timing for a week or two or would i have to get it changed asap
yea to tell you the truth i am kind of worried about a mishift while spraying you think a rev limiter would help me out but at the same time i wont be trying to shift as hard as before

i miss shifted a few times but never at wot. dont worry to much about the higher reving either. i mean dont get me wrong taching it out at wot and poping the clutch isnt good but if you run through 1st and 2nd you shouldnt have a problem.
