Default having a VTEC problem with my crxb16a

My crx with a b16a has a problem after I installed a brand new intake manifold along with a new throttlebody spacer. Before when it was not modified there was no check engine light and everything was running great. The redline reaches 8k no problem and vtec kicks in at 5k. Now after i got everything installed (sensors and hoses in the right places) The car sounds alright, bogs just a bit, and when i take it for a spin the car felt it lost power along with no vtec kick and the car barely reaches 7200 rpms and feels like it can not climb any more. The ecu is a pw0 and nothing is fried or anything. Can someone please help me out here. I had some friends that sent me some faq's about "my vtec not working" but it did not help me in this situation. Advice will help thank you all.

if pics would help out let me know ill be happy to post some thank you community!

For VTEC not to work, There has got to be a check engine light.
There should be a yellow light in your dash.
Pull the carpet up on the passenger foot well side and start the engine. Look in the led window at the ecu and count the flashes. That should give you a clue of what's wrong.
So, do that, count the flashes and post again so we can give you some more help.

That is a good way to check and also you need to reset your system also ....

Make sure you plugged everything back in like TPS (throttle position sensor) and double check your vacuum lines in that area in case you switched them up. Im not sure if the MAP sensor has anything to do with vtec. Check you oil level too. Hope this helps

Everyone, thank you so much for your help! The crx is now running perfectly! The problem was the sensor was not connected correctly on the throttlebody. The car performs much smoother and vtec is kicking in again! Thank you community for your help!
