Hey guy/gals..I have a 92 accord ex coupe with about 148k and when the car is first started up when the engine is still cold she will start right up but then her idle will drop real low and almost stall but then she will jump right back up to normal idle..I alread did a full tune up including new NGK wires & Plugs, oem air filter,gas filter, pcv valve ,cap,rotor and i even replaced the timing belt,water pump and tensioner but she still does the same thing. There are no drivability issues or hesitations but this kinda annoys me..Any ideas?

 

I would definitely give you Idle Air Control Valve (or Electronic Air Control Valve as Honda sometimes calls it) a good cleaning. Take it off the intake manifold and clean it out. Here is a good link for so how to info on doing this type of job.

either someones complaining about low idle or high idle

mine was hopping around everywhere and it was my fitv, now it idles at 500 and i love it bc its so quiet and it saves gasoline
