I dont have my favorites anymore to quickly find what code 9 is. Someone may chime in.

Basics to include:

What year/engine is car?

Have you done any work to the car recently/ made any changes?

After these are answered you may have more people trying to help.

google is your friend man
http://www.preludezone.com/showthread.php?t=2363

Code 9 is: 9- No. 1 Cylinder Position (CYP Sensor)

post more info on your car to get the answers that you want, just try not to post 4 times in a row... patience is a virtue.

What ecu are you using? OBD1 or 2? Do you know the dizzy was good before you installed it?

I belive the dizzy can go on two ways, correctly and 180 deg off. Try taking it off and turning the rotor 180 deg. You know the little rotor on the engine side that has two "tabs" at the end.

The dizzy only goes on 1 way and one way only. I bet that the OP put the wires on the dizzy backwards, or he got a bad dizzy
