ABS and odometer issues.
Ive been lurking here for a while, im active on the forums of the accord club in my area, but so far no one has been able to answer my issues. I have searched this forum, didnt come up with anything on the abs. If there was something posted before than i apologize. I drive a 95 accord EXR (ex vtech) manual with 220xxx. My abs light went on a few days ago and is not going off, it snowed where i live and the system is not working i go into full lock up when i touch the brakes, as well the same day i noticed my odometer and trip meter got stuck at the same numbers, really weird since the speedo still works. I have tried pulling the fuses on the abs to try to reset it or something but not luck. If anyone could help me out and tell me what i could possibly do to fix these problems that would be awesome.
these look like 2 separate problems. If you have to factory service manual it would tell you to inspect the gauge, PCB, and connector. the ABS is another. you have to short the SCS connector and pull the code for starters.
I had a haynes laying around somewhere, for the code id probly just go visit my mech, i was just wondering if anyone ran into the same problem and had a quick fix. I did notice the last time the light went on, in the morning after when i started the car i heard the abs pump for about 20 secs, longest ive heard it go on, and then the light went away. Now i dont hear anything from the abs module at all.
