question about changing timming belt
i'm gonna do my timing belt this weekend, the only thing i'm concerned about though is trying to get the crank bolt torqued back down to the crazy 150pounds, i dont have an impact, how have you guys done it?
1st time: Electric impact wrench...probably wasn't as tight as it should have been, but it was still tight enough to make it a chore of taking it off the 2nd time using a 2 foot breaker bar with the moroso crank holder tool.
2nd time: Craftsman 150lb*ft torque wrench with the Moroso Honda crank pulley holder tool.

As far as I know, it's too specialized of a tool for any general auto parts store to carry it.
The only known place to buy it is from http://www.summitracing.com
$69.99 + $7.95 handling (free shipping)
I've found that it's the most efficient way for DIY'ers to get the crank pulley bolt loose. Thus far, I haven't found anything else that'll even touch it.
If need be, take it to Honda, pay the $20, and have them remove the bolt, anti-seize it and retorque it to 120lb*ft. It'll make it a lot easier b/c the first time is always the hardest.

remove the shield on the lower part of the tranny, it covers the flywheel partially. Get a strip of metal & drill 2 holes in it such way that you can hook-up one of the pressure plate bolts to the one of the bolts on the tranny casting. Lock up the flywheel that way & use a LONG wrench to remove that crank pulley.
Oh, I NEVER tightened it back to that crazy torque spec. The engine rotates counterclockwise, so it will never loosen up. Trust me, I've done quiet a few T-belts this way.
