New to hondas
I just got a 89 Honda Crx ef. ITs a 5 speed. Im wanting to start modding it but i feel like a total noob when it comes to Hondas. I do plan on going F/I. So whats a good platform to start with (motor wise) Whats the easiest swap to do. All help will be appresated. Oh and if you couldnt tell i cant spell.

if its dual point, do a mpfi swap <----- SEARCH
and just add basic bolt on's e.x. intake, header, exhaust, throttle body, fuel rail/pr, pullys ect.....
oh and,
put as many stickers on your car as you can, each one adds 10 horsepower & the bigger and gayer the sticker, the more torque you could have......
if its dual point, do a mpfi swap <----- SEARCH
and just add basic bolt on's e.x. intake, header, exhaust, throttle body, fuel rail/pr, pullys ect.....
oh and,
put as many stickers on your car as you can, each one adds 10 horsepower & the bigger and gayer the sticker, the more torque you could have......
If it is DPFI, start with a MPFI swap and if you are comfortable doing that type of swap move into an engine swap. Easiest from that would be the DOHC ZC swap, if you're feeling confident go with the B-series swap of your choice. Check out the search and find out what you like. You name it, it's been done to the CRX.

Whats that supposed to mean? Im not a ricer. I hate ricers. Second I dont believe in throwing stickers all over my car. The only visual mod i ever do is rims and they are nothing bigger than 16-18 (least on a 240sx). I dont beileve in cromed out fast and the furious type **** ether.
What im looking to do is to find a good solid base motor that can handle boost. Looking to make 7-10 PSI. Or i could say **** it and drop an SR into it, but that would only insult the SR20DET

You could have found out i already said what i was gonna do. What model it is and so on. **** this site ill just drop a ****in SR20DET and call it done. Nice way to help the once lookin for help. Im sure you will keep people this way.

Your giving them the chassis code (EF) which you do not have by the way all USDM 4th gen civics and rexes are ED's....but anyway they want to know what trim your CRX is i.e. CRX HF, CRX standard (DX) or a CRX Si. They just want to know what you have to start out with because all all three trim levels have different engines, fuel injection, tranny etc. Don't get too bent out of shape. We just need info to give info that's all.

hehe, Why don't you just go ahead and sell the crx to someone who will appreciate it and pick up a nice b13 sentra and drop the sr20 into that. Or find an SE-R and boost that. My brother has owned a few boosted sentras they fast as hell. and It would be so much better to do that than molest your crx.

clowns are gay, you dont know anything, and i dont think you should hop into a honda forum saying you're gonna toss an sr into a civic and think you're tight.
1) sell your car to someone who would appreciate it, and not put icp stickers on it and try to boost it when they dont even know the trim level.
2) get a ****in double barrel, insert in mouth, pull trigger.
