Icon6 94-95 Fog light HID install

With the kit that i bought it does not fit perfect as you will see on down in this post but everything works and i have not had any problems.

Remove the three bolts and remove the bracket. Mine was rusted so i had to drill them out and but new bolts and retap the holes. no biggy.

Flip it over and remove the three lil screws and take the back off.

remove the lil screw and take the bulb out and replace the small metal bracket and screw back into housing.

unplug the light and then remove the wires from the metal plate.

besure to give yourself some room and cut the wires and remove the small rubber pce

cut the wires for the HID light and stick them thru the rubber pce that you took off of the other wires. Its not very easy. i got one of mine on but the other ripped so i just used some High temp RTV and put it in the hole where the wires come out to prevent water and moisture from getting inside the fog light housing.

Replace the three screws and mine had a small gap as you can see in the pic above.

To fill the gap i use some solid copper wire and high temp RTV. I use the solid copper wire to keep all the RTV from going inside of the housing and then put high the RTV over that to seal it up. its not too pretty but no one will see it unless they inside your bumper

I put a layer all the way around it to make sure that it was not going to get any moisture in there.
After that reinstall the bracket and the three bolts and solder the HID wires back together and hook everything up and mount your ballast somewhere and you should be ready to go.
I dont have a pic of them on my car yet but i will get one up soon.

Very nice man.

Noticeable difference in the car?

I've had a hell of a time just getting my kit haha, supposedly wrong address and a bunch of other bull ****, I should have them this upcoming week. Would a plastic or rubber washer/spacer work in it's place you think?

Yes i can tell i huge difference. I put 8k in the low beams and suppose to be 3k in the fogs but there not the yellow that i know to be 3k. but they are very bright! i love them.

I thought about trying to find a spacer of some kind but had no idea of what to use and it has to be something to keep out all the moisture. i see some red rtv laying around so use it. and i know that will keep out the moisture.

Those are standard H3, same thing I ordered.

It may have been unintentional with josh but the H3C's don't exactly have the best track record and are not as bright with a much shorter lifespan.

I think I'm going to be making a small rubber spacer for my fogs when I get them in (damn shipping)

Im pretty sure that they are just H3. i cant get good pic's of the front with any angle at all with my camera. all you can see is a glar as you can tell from pic below. i will try and get friend of mine to get some good pic's soon. here is all i got for now.

this is just the low beams which are 8k

this is just the fog lights which are suppose to be 3k but i dont think they are. i think they are more like 4k or something

Here is both together.

very nice... for your headlights, is that a kit that you bought or did you do a retrofit? if its a kit which one is it? i am looking to do HID headlights in my 94 and i am looking to do a kit. i know retrofit is better, but i think a kit is more of the way i want to go!

i just bought a kit. i bought it from one of my friends that sells HIDs. im not sure where he gets them or what brand tho. I thought about retrofit but i dont like the way the projector looks inside the black housings and i didnt wanna take my headlights apart and risk destroying them. I like the out put of HIDs with projectors better but just dont like the way they look in the accord headlights

Doesn't have the DOT markings on it = illegal.

Most aftermarket parts say "Off Road Use Only"

No ballast? Wth? Are they connected to the fuse box next to the clutch/brake? I didnt know you can hook them up straight like that.. And I never get pulled over and I have 10k's for both low and fog. And cops are dicks here. So IDK..
