This may have been covered, I just searched a bunch and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. My problem is that I'm trying to install a Full Race traction bar on my DA and it seems to be too narrow - I'm wondering if maybe it's an EF version, or just made wrong.
From my searching the general consensus seems to be that a stock DA crossmember will not work on an EF - but I couldn't find anyone who was giving a reason why. Also, EF traction bars were available before DA ones - because of that I assume that's because they are different but again, not sure HOW they are different. Judging by the photos I've seen online most companies use the exact same style of bar for both the EF and DA. So maybe it's just overall length? Distance between bolt holes? Front mount differences? Or tow-hook bolt hole differences? I'm hoping someone may have some insight on this.
I'm wondering if anyone has measured the center to center measurement for the two long bolt holes (bolt vertically into frame rails) on a Full-Race traction bar (EF) or the corresponding holes on a stock EF crossmember.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
