suspension techniques sells a rear bar (don't know about their front bar) that includes everything needed for a car that didn't originally come with a rear bar installed. It includes every bolt and bracket and you won't have to change your lca's.

huh, nice to know jpciii, appreciate the input. i've looked at their bars but didn't realize this. their stuff seems pretty decent and they have the adjustable bar as well!

I can confirm this. The rear sway bar attaches to the bottom of the shock instead of the stock end link locations.

ehh, not quite. The SI lca suggestion was for adding a bar to the rear.

You could probably go without a front bar if you use a big bar in the rear. Many autocross drivers set up their civics that way... with a big bar in the back and a tiny one (or none at all) up front. Be warned, though: the car will handle a lot differently. If you are braking hard and turning at the same time, you can easily lose control and bring the *** end spinning around.

the only model that didnt come with a front swaybar is the standard "CX" model civic hatch. so if you have that car, or the front bar is already missing, and you want to run a front swaybar, you will need the stock U brackets that fit into the subframe and hold the swaybar up. you can get them from the junkyard or buy new.

all front control arms will accommodate the front swaybar. you do not need to look for another front control arm even if you dont have one installed at the moment.

not the same as the rear....
