The automatic ecu could be your problem, however I think that there is something more to it. Did you check your timing after you did the swap? Sparkplug wires in the correct firing order? You sure you didn't mix up the TPS and MAP sensor plugs since they are close together.
The p28 ecu is meant for the sohc D16Z6, commonly used for 95 ex's and Del Sol. The GSR is a DOHC motor, so if you are running an ecu that is only meant to adjust and moderate the cam timing for one cam shaft, you will get some issues when you use it on an engine with dual overhead cams. try a p72, that is a B18C1 (GSR) series ecu. Using the wrong ecu can really mess up your motor, so switch it out asap.

Please stop with the caps.
Just ask the question dont dance around it, I'm guessing you need to know how to check the CEL code.
First you need to jump the service connector (stick a u shaped wire in the plug to connect the curcuit), its the green plug neer the ECU.
Once you do this the CEL on the cluster should start to flash the code.
Reference the code here https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/how-pull-cel-d4-srs-abs-codes-code-lists-1901557/
