My brother on law has an 06 EX. He's putting in recaros and harnesses. How do we get ride of the beep?

 

i would check with the dealer and see what he can do for you. i wouldn't unplug or repin anything, cause the car might still be under warranty. talk to the dealer and see what can be done

 

It's got a salvage title so it's not under warrenty.

 

Your best bet would be to disassemble the regular seatbelt clip, insert the metal part into clip housing, and hide it somewhere under the seat

 

^^ Either that, or actually find the speaker that makes the beeping noise and disable it (unplug/cut wires, remove it, stab speaker with soldering iron, etc). I believe it is in the dashboard, but I have no clue where.

 

don't you reuse the original buckles on aftermarket seats?

 

dunno how the law works over there but here it sucks, you're supposed to wear the original seatbelt *over* whatever you install, like wtf...
