i'm indirecting soliciting for ITR's to drive at midohio.
ryan: locash still has my quote of "99% of delsol owners are gay or rice out f*cks.". while i probably went a little extreme on the percentage, i'm afraid i still stand behind that comment... the number is 70+%
lots of ITR maybe pretty boys, but atleast they're pimped out with nifty bling bling parts.

Frank still needs to show up at a Hawaii track day/autox.

Del Sol owners? No comment. I think the guy who cuts my mom's hair has a Del Sol...

I just spend all day washing and waxing my ITR and driving past high schools to get attention.

GR, I'll see ya at the TracQuest event! And like they all say...
Millennium Force owz, great first, second, and third hills 310ft, 169ft, and 181ft! Just rode it about a month ago, it's like 3 coasters in one.

well I made it home finally. i've got lots of great pix from the trip. I got to drive both Sean and Kyle's ITR's. interesting handling... they both had more understeer than stock ITR's. but yet both had rear stiff springs (kyle has 8k f 12k r) and sean had 450 f 550 r... i wish i got a chance to try them again on the 2nd day after i suggest tire pressure changes. i got brian's little dx powered civic down to 1:59 on 2nd day. i think i did a 1:55 in kyle's car and 1:56 in sean's, both cars were pushing way more than i liked, but i guess i didn't trail brake well enough. i'm used to a more neutral setup. i probably could've got them down to 1:53 or less if i gone solo in them on the 2nd day as i got more familiar with the track.
my favorite part of the track was... i drove a 2002 911 GT2 for about 10 mins on track! hit 150 mph on the front straight, and did 1:44-45 in lots of traffic. the owner said he thought i was on pace for a 1:41. what a car... it was so easy to drive. i'll post a more complete story and pix later.
ps, the best ride at Cedar Point was the PowerTower going down... Millenium force, not as good as i hoped.

Alan said it's about 200k with tax. is it worth it?? well, really depends on the angle you look at it. bang for the buck performance? probably not. an engineering marvel that does everything well? yes. is it that much better than the regular 911 turbo? yes. it is actually much easier to drive for the experieced drivers.
How is the Mid Ohio Track?? Is it good?? I really want to sign up for one of there schools, i think it would be fun and a eduactional experience. Thanks

yes it's an excellent technical track. it has some elevation changes but not super drastic. their school is expensive but i think i heard it's not bad, they have a whole fleet of RSX-S's. call the midohio school for more info on their proggy. it looks like they give you some car control practice, and then sometimes in this very cool autox style course, then finally you move to the track itself. apparently they don't even use the track until 4:30 pm...
tracquest *might* be out there in oct. again, keep your fingers crossed. if you're looking for a lot of seat time with good instruction, look for TQ. we'll have you up to speed in no time.
