00 GSR Help!
So my car stutters and drops rpms like crazy when driving normal (It drives fine if I gun it). I just got a new timing belt put on and the day after I got it back it wouldn't start so I brought it back to the shop. They informed me that the timing belt jumped a tooth on the cam. They fixed it and said nothing else had been effected. They also told me that the hesitation or stuttering was caused by my the distributor. I swapped in a distributor from my friends gsr that was running fine but is off the road for the winter. The car is still doing the same thing.
My questions are:
What else could cause this stuttering?
Could the timing belt jumping a tooth ruin anything on the car.
In case you were wondering the car is all stock, has 89k and has been taken care of pretty well.
Please respond with something informative.
Thanks

hmm...? usually when you jump teeths, your motor can blow. can still drive it around?..u might want to do a compression test on it just to check if anything internal is damge. sometime shops will lie to you if they fu<ked up your motor. not saying they did or if it's a bad shop.
