Newbie Here
I have been watching this forum for a couple of years and I would imagine my son is on here somewhere.
I first noticed a Prelude / Restoration project going on and followed his steps. I just undertook replacing my quarter, but that’s got nothing to do with this forum.
Anyway
I have been driving fixing Hondas since the 70's. My first was a 76, 77, 78
Then sold the 76 in 1990, Sorry I did.
about 97-98 bought an old 78 needed major restoration, then in 2004 bought a 92 hatchback, sold it to my son, basically he took it over and transformed it into a beautiful machine, with some help from his dad.
The following year I bought a 93 Civic for my self sold and bought a 92 Prelude the year after. In 2002 I bought another 78 Civic, as if one was not enough.
Then 1-1/2 ago I bought a 2002 Civic SIR from a Honda dealer, such a wonderful toy. Its packed and body oiled for winter storage.
This seems to be a busy forum and lots of knowledgeable members here. I have a lot to learn about the more modern Civics’ but not too old to teach an old dog new trick per say.

Thought I would share these photos of what I have done so far.
American Racing Wheels mounted on Falcon Zex tires, Siebon carbon fibre hood, Type R wing and fog lights.
Future mods include AEM long cold air intake, Mugen Carbon fibre front lip, pod gauges.
Restoring OEM tail lights, deep scratches and gouge, I will show how to restore to original condition.

I don't care for the tails either, the car came with those from the dealer but it had the oem tail lights in the back. they need to be cleaned up before I put them on. Lowering that I would love to do, but I am having problems getting in and out of my Prelude after I lowered it last year, Bad Knees. So the Civic gives me a break when getting in and out of it. Gotta save the knees. But I am up to other mods.
