Default 2009 Civic Si Sedan shifting

Am I the only one who thinks the clutch is a little sensitive when reaching its friction point? As soon as it hits it, the ****en thing wants to turn off? Can it be adjusted or anyone have tips on starting from stop? I've driven other manual cars and they seem to have a little more leverage.

Other than that, 1-3 is low range as hell and you'll soon find yourself in 4th on city. You also have to ditch 5th and go straight to 6th on highway... :\

Give it a little of the accelerator and let the clutch out. It's a little more sensitive than most, but you'll catch the hang of it.

it actually wont die. its got a hill assist. so as long as you let it out slowly it wont die.

close ratio six speed transmission = really close gears. which is why 6th gear acts as an overdrive.

I got used to it after a week. and this is also my first stick shift/manual car.

i give it a little gas before the friction point. hope that helps you.

you just gotta get used to the engagement point. you don't even have to worry about giving it more gas (any more than normal) once you've figured out where the clutch starts to grab.

you learn different clutch techniques after you've driven cars with unsprung clutch discs.

Is this your first manuel vehicle or do you just like to spread misimformation?

3rd gear goes to 77 mph, not low range in the least.
