Icon2 Fog Light Replacement

I was driving last night on the freeway when something flew up and hit the foglights on my FG and broke my passenger side lens and bulb. I'm planning to have them replaced now with the yellow fog lights. My question is, what kit can i get that will use the HFP wiring for the aftermarket kit. Basically I just want to replace whats at the bumper. . none of the wiring. Do they all wire the same? Would i be best off going with the Password JDM set?

Right Side PN for the Civic Coupe - 08V31-S5D-1M101
Left Side PN for the Civic Coupe - 08V31-S5D-1M102

Them get Lamin-x overlays. It will help them from getting cracked and chipped.

I don't know about the lexan, but I've had the laminx film over my girlfriends Fit fogs for more than a year and half problem free. I had it on my SI fogs within a week of buying the car.

Where can i purchase the laminx film? Is it car specific or do you have to buy a sheet?

Because the lens gets to hot and the overlays will burn.

Why not do it right and get 3500k HID?

http://www.lamin-x.com/

I've bought the two small sheets (which comes out to be about 14 bucks) for both the Fit and my SI.

Pull the fogs off and put the film on. I tried to half *** it and ended up having to take them off and do it right.

Unscrew the screw holding the fogs in the bumper, knock off the plastic guards under the bumper, and push the bottom of the fog light up to allow it to come loose out of the bumper. Pull the bezel off of the actual fog light. Pull the backing off of the film and stick it to the fog light, then use a razor knife to cut a sheet to fit. I left a little space around the outside of the light and try to flatten it out as best you can. There will be some bubbles but they go away within a week or two.

15k posts. Dang I've been on here a long time.

I'v had them on my fiance's SI for a few months and never had a problem and I recomended the cover for the protection it offers not the color. Lamin-x's site says not to leave the fog lights on for more than 20 min with the car not moving.

ok. . .my main question is has anyone ever replaced their honda oem foglights with another aftermarket foglight while retaining the factory wiring harness. Which foglight will allow me to do that. I want to go yellow for sure. Will the password jdm ones work with the OEM foglight harness? Which ones will?

You may have better luck with it than I did.

What I did was cut a notecard to about the right size, and then trim the laminx stuff to the same size and slide it in past the surrounds, but I couldn't ever get it flat and all attached. If you do it, I hope you have better luck than I did.

Coupe and Sedan fog housings are the same size. There is no differance.. I had Lamin-X on my fogs and it melted. I retroed projectors into them and used Lexan.
