It shouldn't take you that long.. the only thing that took time for me was learning to drive with 2 feet intstead of one (I was always taught ever since I had a permit to use only one foot for the gas and the brake so I never jam em at the same time) but everyone learns in different ways..

honestly i think that the RSX-S is a good car to start out stick.. very smooth.. only trouble is the gears are kind of close.. very easy to mis-shift to 2nd instead of 4th... but most hondas are a good car to start out stick... if u really try u can get good in about a week...

stick is not that hard. I had to learn stick when we got the big snowstorm here in '93 and the only car that would drive was an old beat up ford bronco.

I had 4 drunk people teach me how to drive stick one night when I was the only sober person. It isnt hard to get the hang of, as long as you arent my wife

100% right. the rsx-s gears are sooo damn close, you mis-shift a lot until you get used to it. that's the only thing that blows. like shifting into 5th when you wanna shift into 3rd. =\

took me a day to pick up the shifting and a few weeks to get everything down completely smoothly.

I actually learned how to really drive on the way home from the dealership. My bro taught me how to for like 5 minutes then quit..LOL.. so I had to learn by myself on the way home from the dealership and after that it took me like 2 days to master it. Good Luck bro..
