Default Air Hammer brake removal question

So I've found out the hard way that 90-97 Accord front brakes have the worse design I've ever seen. Really has ruint my day trying to fix it.

I came across this and I can't figure out which air hammer bit it is actually telling me to use. It says a use a "blunt tip" or "smoothing" hammer attachment. Anyone care to translate? Searching for bits I've came across nothing.

http://web.archive.org/web/200611132...torremoval.pdf

U can see the air hammer and bit at the beginning of page two and at the end of page one it describes the bit to use.

Need to get this done tomorrow. Anyone know which bit to actually use here?

Some people use a bit which could be refered to as a rivit drift. It necks down to a shaft of aprox 3/8" and is blunt / flat.
You just don't want anything which could cut or punch a hole thru something

Any idea where I can buy one of these? Can I use it with a conventional air hammer or do you need a special one. Only reason i'm asking is I can pick up a 10 dollar air hammer at Harbor Freight, but the one with the bit I need is 99 dollars.

Searching and searching but still no luck. I can't find anything on Lowes.com or harbor freight. I wonder if either would have a bit set like this in the store?

i just usually take the axel nut off and then slide hammer the rotor off

the outer race of the bearing may come off with the hub but i have had zero problems putting them back once i've changed the rotors

thats the easiest way for me

What about pulling off the knuckle and putting four 10x1.25 bolts in it, and hammering the bolts one by one until it the bearing pops out of the knuckle? Anyone tried this with sucess?
