93 sedan idle problems... Help

Default 93 sedan idle problems... Help

i have a 93 civic lx sedan with the D15B7 and every time i start if up the idle shoots up to 2500 - 3000 rpm. Thinking i need to replace the IAC? Is this the issue or anything else i could start with?

clean the iac with some brake clean.. and change pcv valve because the pcv maby clogged and blow bye gasses maybe exiting the breather hose clogging the iacv. thats just a guess

you dont need to replace it, just clean it with some brake cleaner, i have the same problem which im going to fix it this weekend but here is the how to:

and if that doesn't solve it, you may need to clean the FITV
