so i went to take my car in for inspection and the notorious check engine light came on and then went off then came back on durring the time i owned the car...........that being said i went to get my car fixed and they said i had a bad cat so they replaced that...then the light came back on in about three seconds saying the O2 sensor was out which is common so they replaced both O2 sensors and the light is still on regardless i can get the waiver for the emissions but what could be the problem he said it might be something electrical but im supposed to drive it around and give it back to him i mean i am inspection certified and even im fooled by this one can anyone help??? any ideas??

Sometimes the pins for the O2 connectors pull out of the connector disallowing connection. Good luck!

What car? year? engine? what obd? have you tried swapping ecu's?

00 integra gsr b18c1, obd II, and no i didnt try to do anything with the ecu..
