I have searched this topic and found nil. What I would like to know is:

Can I directly swap a trans from a d17a2 setup to my d17a1 setup? Is it just like it is for d16?

Any info would be greatly appreciated as the manual trans on my wife's 01 dx coupe is on its way out and I found a trans from a 03 si/ex coupe (Canadian ed so d17a2) locally FS.

search again its been covered... but yes it can

 

you can swap any tranny from an 01-04 They all interchange except for the civic SI since that's not the D17. lol
