The header was dyno tested this evening back to back with the 4-1... The 4-1 had better midrange at crossover, but the 4-2-1 was stronger on top with 185 peak HP, where as the 4-1 was 183.. Dave has the dyno charts e-mailed to him, and he will post soon I hope...

I can't tell you when SMSP is going to start opening up the header for sale.. It is still a prototype.. Dave will give you guys an idea when its ready...

Eric Rosen still hasn't emailed them to me so I hope I get them in the morning.

The 4-2-1 didn't handle the VTEC cross over as well as the 4-1. I think I'd like to build another 4-2-1 to see if I can get better performance at VTEC while still having a header that wuld clear the cross member.

This may delay a final version coming out, but I'd prefer to have the torque curve a bit better at VTEC thenit is now.

 

wow thats pretty backwards huh? usually its a 4-1 that are stronger up top with the 4-2-1 having a better midrange. its all gravy though! im still saving

 

Wow, i wish every company had the same thoughtfullness about there product as you guys. If it takes a little bit longer to make it that much better i'll wait on what i know will be the best. You guys are the greatest, keep us posted on any up comming information you have. Cause i want this header probably just has bad as you guys want to make it a great one.
