I was thinking of doing a little nitrous. Does anyone have a set up with a supercharger? I have a 99GSR. Any comments or knowledge would help!
I heard that a small shot acts like an intercooler to cool the intake charge but I don't know how good or bad it is. I say what the hell go for it.
thing with nitrous is it cools teh air and injects pure oxygen into the car.. the supercharger compresses air to give you more power by shoving more in... now your cooling the intake charge which makes the air more dense which gives the supercharger more air to compress....
if that makes sense.....
your gonna need some extra fuel for that juice...

if u have JRSC setup with stock injectors, this would be suicide i think. You don't have enough fuel (since pressure is already so high), and you'll go lean and ....
well, injecting it into the intake stream will cool down the charge... but its safety is still being debated. i would recommend liquid intercooling AKA aquamist. refills are cheaper

fyi nitrous oxygen isn't "pure" oxygen.
7 eletrons for the nitrogen
8 for the oxygen...
im assuming they are using N2O based on how electron states work

why would you wanna do that on an internally stock (i'm assuming) motor? and if you wanted ultimate straight line performance why didn't you just bolt a turbo on....I'm just curious. in my experience the people who run JRSC's want more low end torque to pull them outta the corners faster....and usually stay away from the squeeze. you a stoplight dragger?
I would say don't do it unless you have a spare engine lying around that you could throw in WHEN you crunch your motor. if you want more power try doing some more tuning....you mentioned that it's leaning out, get that motor some more fuel...spend the $$$ on a dyno session....just my .02 cents...plus I don't wanna see a fellow Integ driver blow their motor doing something stupid

the main reason one would use n2o on a JRSC'd car is to cool it down or to get an impressive 12 sec 1/4 mile run to impress people.
