Default coffin creak sound

has anyone herd this coffin creaking sound in their ep3 mine just started making this noise when rolling fron 0 to 5mph 1st to 2nd gear? has anyone else have this problem?

Is it while turning? If it is... It is normal. Welcome to the club!

Steering rack doesn't like being on a lowered vehicle.

I still haven't figured out if it is actually harmful to anything. Although it is quite annoying.

Just the perks of a modified car. Mine makes all kinds of noises over bumps and whatnot.

lol really. mine does it wrost turning but a little bit going striaght aswell. any suguestion???

I don't think there is a way to fix it aside from replacing it? I could be wrong...

I saw some bracket that was selling on EBAY that was supposed to raise or lower something to bring it all level so that it stops creaking but I never knew if it was a joke or not. Looked nice.

Lots of people have this problem. Search for it...

search on ephatch.com , they have a bunch of post on this problem. Try to get some lube in the rubber boots for a temporary fix or ................replace it

I dunno how much it costs to replace the steering rack but I'd rather just stick with annoyingness than fork out that cash. Mine isn't really that bad anyway... Only at low speeds.

ok thanks guys. i feel alot better now that its nothing really serious. i raged on my car pretty bad two days ago i was thinking i might have been something to do with that lol. becuase i raced a 06 si and it was little wet out and once i got into second gear i spun pretty much all the way down the road and bounce of the rev limter a couple of time :'( lol and so on but thats how it went
