did you get back as much insurance money as you were expecting? i have a reciept for EVERYTHING I ever bought for the car(alot of stuff) so I should get back some money for that as well since i had full coverage. how much did you guys get back?

 

You need to give the insurance company a copy of your receipts as you get them. This way they can add to your coverage and you will end up paying more every month.

 

yeah, unless you did that, you arent getting anything back.. besides the worth of the car i mean.

 

My honda was stolen last month, I just received an offer from my insurance, it was actually more than KBB so I was pretty happy with it. I've sent all my receipts (rims, sound system, headers, exhaust....) and also lots of pics of the car. Dont accept the first offer, they will always try to lowball...Also, go to autotrader and print out ads of similar cars (same year, mileage) so you can show them how much the car is being sold nowdays...
