Default what lowering springs to get?

tein s-techs, or skunk 2 or what would you recommend? and what drop would be good for a daily driven 95 civic 4 door? i wanna get the tires just about where the top of the tire is at the edge of the fender but wont scrape the ground on bumps

my dad got s techs on his miata diffrent car i know but it lowerd it an inch and they are a little more stiff than stock but he likes them pretty well. i like my h&r springs alot nice and stiff but not too bad. make sure you get shorter bump stops too if your worried about comfort

H&R's are very good for 92-95 Civics IMO.

skunk2's will drop your car to the top of the tire with no rubbing problems, s-techs will leave a little wheel gap but will ride damn close to stock

I'd go with Tokico or H&R over the brands mentioned, though only out of the brands mentioned I'd go with the Tein - I am NOT fond of skunk2 anything, I don't think their springs would be any better than the rest of the horrible experinces I've seen/had with them.

This is kind of a useless topic, because everybody has their bad and good experiences with different companies. It's basically preference.

The S-Techs don't drop very low, you ought to think about the H&R Sport springs, they aren't a harsh ride and they drop a good amount (one finger gap). The Teins are about a 2 finger gap.

yes it's all based on preference. s-tech is basically like oem but a bit stiffer and with a 1.5inch drop. h&r gives you a bigger drop with the also good quality. people also consider eibach

i either choose one of the three but teins always appealed to me. i went from a kyb agx's with s-techs up to tein SS coilover setup :D
