Default Squeek and knocking noise from drivers front

I returned my car to stock suspension a couple of days ago and now I get a loud knoking and squeeking noise from the drivers front side when i go over a bumpy road. I checked to make sure everything was torqued to speck. What could the issue be?

thanx, Reeder321

I've been dealing with noises like this for a while now. I've replaced almost everything in the front end and the car still sounds like a squeaky bed

LCA bushings could be it as I've had bad bushings that made a lot of noise. What I found to make the most noise is the top assembly of the strut. Pop the hood and where your shock comes through should have a rubber bushing mounted in there. On my car those bushings must be worn out because they squeak like a madman.

Clunking noises can be many things but most likely it's a bad bushing. One of my LCA bushings is toast and it makes noise.

i had the same problem with mine, ended up being the rear firewall tranny mount, just the right bump and it would squeak and sound just like crickets.

Any time you change ride height, you must always reset preload on the suspension bushings. This involves loosening all bolts that pass through bushings in all the control arms, and re-torquing them while the suspension is loaded. This is preferably done while the car is sitting on its own 4 wheels, but can also be done by jacking up the suspension to load it.

With the wrong preload on the bushings, they can make some pretty loud noises.

Hey PatrickGSR94, love your avatar. I miss that cartoon. That one ranks right up there with GI Joe.
