Starting issues!!!!! Please HELP!!!!
Alright so for the past month or so my 90' civic hatch has sort of decided when it wants to start. The engine is a sohc zc with nothing fancy using a stock, complete si wiring harness. It has run fine since last november up until now. What it would do was when i would turn the ignition to the START position the main relay would click and the fuel pump would turn on but no crank. It did this on and off for a month or so until about a week ago i went ahead and changed the starter with a remanufactured one from Kragen. Everything has worked fine with no hesitation starting since i installed it, until today. It is doing the same old crap again.
So some things i have check are the main relay(switched with a known good one, if this would even effect the starting idk), and obviously the starter since it was brand new a week ago.
What are some suggestions on what could cause this??? The ignition switch maybe? Faulty wiring?
Let me know what you guys think

This is a tricky one given that the new starter seemed to fix things for a week. I would at least eliminate the ignition switch using the quick tests at http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/start...ignitionswitch
Check wiring everywhere as well.

Problem Fixed!!!
The issue was that the si tranny i have in my car was in my friends car before mine. He had the top starter bolt(the shorter one that threads into the bell housing) vibrate loose on him and fall out. So when he put a new one in he stripped the threads a bit(he isnt the greatest at working on cars). Long story short the day i changed the starter i noticed this and when i was tightening that bolt it would get tight then get loose and on and on. What happened was the bolt rattled loose just enough to separate the starter from the bell housing about a millimeter, which is apparently just enough to not have a good contact to ground out the solenoid.
I tightened the bolt enough to hold it against the bell housing for now and it started with no hesitation. I'll just have to figure out a way to fix the problem now without having to replace the tranny.
