I ran over what I thought was a traffic cone lying in a busy highway last night and when I looked at the bumper I noticed it took some paint off. Three spots each about half the diameter of a dime. There was no other physical damage. Since the bumper is plastic I am not worried about corrosion to fix it right away but I also am thinking of attempting to touch it up myself and I am looking for some advice.

Basically what supplies would I need and what would the procedure be. I am sure I'll have to sand it down a bit, apply a bit of primer, some touch up paint, and some clear coat and then buff it (possibly some sanding in between). But I'd like to get some firmer instructions and list of supplies I need to buy. I know Honda does sell touch up paint and I figured that is what could be used. I also figured that I wouldn't loose anything in the attempt since if I decide to take it to the shop, I don't think it will cost me any more after my attempt.

I can post pictures if they are necessary in the evaluation of how best to handle this. Thanks for your suggestions and if this isn't the right place to post for this kind of advice let me know if there is a better place to take it.
