Default 91 ef smoking

just replaced a head gasket and now the car is blowing out white smoke from the exhuast, alot of smoke. can someone tell me what i might have done wrong.

wrong gasket, head not torqued correctly, coolant line to intake manifold?? Not really sure man. Recheck your work. Make sure everything is connected correctly.

Did you install the gasket right side up?
Im pretty sure your supposed to replace the head bolts because they strech out over time...which might lead to coolant leaking into your cylinders...check your radiator is it low on fluid?

Maybe your head is warped. Did you check before you installed the new gasket?

One possibility,
If the head gasket was blown before,
or you didn't drain the coolant
before you removed the head,

Then the exhaust is full of coolant and it will take it
a long while to burn off..

Is it consuming the fluid from the radiator or overheating?
If not just keep it running..

A 30 mile drive on the freeway is sometimes what it takes...

i didn't replace the head bolts.
i didn't drain the coolant from the block before i removed the head.
i will try running it. thanks for the advise
