One of the striking features of Skunk2 Pro-Series Valve Springs is the use of Japanese-milled super clean chrome silicone wire, which is 100% eddy-current inspected before coiling. The process is fairly simple but executed at higher levels of precision. After coiling, the spring is heat-treated, shot-peened, and empowered with an advanced proprietary chemical polishing and nitriding process.
