Hi There, I'm new member in this website and I want to share some experience and some problem too actually.Bay the way, I have honda accord 98 v6 with auto transmission and I want really really bad to swap to manual transmission.Can I swap my transmission? and where I find the shop can do it for me? and find the transmission for my car?
I was think, I will swap to manual transmission from accord v6 2003 until 2007. The honda make manual transmission for v6 engine on that years,but right now is kind hard to find that car and I hope you guys can help me out about this and I want to know what you think guys about my plan to swap transmission. Thanks alot for you guys to respond me.

I don't know from where you're posting, but I'll speak for what's up here in the States.
Honda started offering V6's (2.7L 170hp '96 and '97) and (3.0L 200hp from 1998 on).
For the North America market, none were offered with a Manual transmission. This was because of CAFE considerations.
There are all manner of build threads involving Auto/5spd swaps for L4 applications, but I've yet to see one for a V6

I live in charlotte NORTH CAROLINA,that way I wanna know do they have manual transmission can fit to my car honda accord 98 V6 or not. or may be I have to swap the whole thing engine and transmission from honda accord v6 2003 until 2007. I know honda make accord v6 with manual transmission.
So what you think? or maybe you have advice for me or maybe I have to buried my dream to swap my transmission. Thanks alot

 

Yes you can do it.
