the paint will look fine until it heats up and then it will start to peel off.
Get some duplicolor engine enamel if you arnt going to do any hard braking. otherwise you need some caliper paint.

NO NO AND NO, the paint will catch fire. Regular automotive paint like acrilic enamel with start bubling at 200F, you brake caliper will reach double that +. Autoparts stores sell specific caliper paint. Just get that.

regular car paint will work fine. my brother owns a body shop and we do it all the time. we usually apply it with a small brush though. just try to clean all the crud off the calipers first with laquer thinner or alcohol. then just brush the base on and let it dry. if you can get your color mixed in an enamel it will be even tougher. my calipers have been this way for over 6 years and they still look as good as when we first did it. when i wash the car i reach through the rims and wash the calipers too. looks nice.

regular car paint in india?

most of the 2k paint is arclyic urtherane base(Sp) lol

enamel with ceramic based paint can withstand upward 1000degree without fading(need heat cycle process)
