hey guys I need some help on a prelude im working on, I mostly workin on civics but anyway. this car has a jdm motor and trans, bunch of msd ignition and an intake manifold. its running off of and obdII type R ecu. its got no speedo changed the vss and cluster. I also tried to put a scanner on it and nothing. Is there anyway to jump a plug to make the cel flash like you can on eg's??? any help would be greatly apperciated

yep, blue 2P connector is on the right hand side of the console right next to the diag port. follow usual instructions; jump the connector and turn the key to on w/o starting.

what ecu is it running off off? a OBD2 type R as in a P73?

 

yeah its got a p73 in it....Ive got a problem that I hope someone can help me diagnose... the vss isnt working and its got a 12v source and the ground is good, but Ive read the manual from honda and it says that the blue/white wire needs five or more volts, and im gettin 4.76volts...would that make the speedo not work and also what would cause that voltage drop?
