Default injectors

im am doing a b series conversion into a 1.5vtec. i was using my loom up until i got to the injectors and realised the injector locator pins are different to sohc vtec. i am wondering if i can put 1.6 sohc vtec injectors into it as there 1.6 injcetors. and am also wondering if the ecu controls the injector opening period?

as long as you are putting the same impedence injector in there, you wont have any issues. you would have to be putting pre 92 injectors, so if they are newer than that you are fine.

the injectors see 12v all the time, the injector driver triggers the ground side of the injector.

unless they are pre-92 or from a d16y7 which are 190cc injectors then they will work fine otherwise.

not sure how you'd go bout turning up the fuel... but no thats not necessary

All obd 1/2 B series are 240cc's saturated
All obd 1/2 D series are 240cc's saturated
Except for the d16y7 190cc's saturated
1992-96 Prelude non-vtec Peak and hold 240cc
1992-96 Prelude VTEC Peak and hold 345cc
1997-up Prelude VTEC Saturated 280cc
