My tranny was poppin out of fifth gear!
Last night on my way home, driving about 80-85, my car kept poppin out of fifth gear, at random times. I wasn't hittin no bumps. Has anyone experienced this? My car is a 99 si with a 01 b18c and lsd tranny.

Fluid!
My 99 Si did that when I had a seal leak. You should not let it get to that point.
Drain all the fluid (you may have less than 1 qrt.) and re-fill. Don't just top off as the stuff in there is toast!

agree with the fluid. a mechanic friend of mine told me about that a couple months back. to low on fluid can make 5th pop out and can also keep you from going into fifth.
it could also be a shaft bearing.
