My girlfriend has a 2000 civic ex and she has no brake lights. Here is the thing, this has been going on for a week now and need some help.Here is what is going on, no fuses are blown and no bulbs are blown and the brake light switch when it is unplugged the brake lights should stay on am i correct? and I dont know what else to do. Has anyone encountered this problem before?

 

if you just unplug it, nothing will happen.
unplug the brake light sw. jump the terminals, lights comes on, replace the brake light sw.

 

I forgot to add that I jumped the connector and nothing happened. so when you jump the brake switch and nothing happens where do I go from there?

 

change the switch.

 

ok she has a brake lighte switch coming from honda now but if that dont wont I dont know what else to do.
