Odd leak?
I left my car on the drive way one night and, I notice as I pulled out that it leaked a dark fluid that had a dark ring around it and, I notice a small dot of coolant. I just had my water pump and timing belt done just recently! Could it possible that since my boots are torn it could be leaking the grease? or, my power steering is pump is leaking? How would I check these things?
First thing you've got to do is clean the engine using either engine wash or brake cleaner and get all the past crap (I can say crap right?) and gunk off there so you can spot the fresh leak.
This could all be residue from the past repairs, but you have to clean it first to make sure.

Use Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner, it works very well, its cheap and one can goes a long ways. Jack the car up and use safety stands or drive over a ditch or someplace to get under the car safely and clean it up better than new. You may only need to drive around the block or for a couple of days to see where the leaks are coming from so check it everytime you get a chance. CV Boots are leaking grease then you will need to wipe things off with some type of rags, your sisters blouses usually work well for jobs like this.
