Hey, I just bought a 91 Civic Si hatch. This is the first Honda I have ever owned and i just bought it as a daily driver to keep miles off my other car. Now when it comes to Honda I am the definition of Noob. So what do you guys recommend I do to either mod it or keep it well maintained?

 

Keep it stock until you figure out what you like. Then mod it. You might want to check out this thread.

 

are you going for exterior looks to make it look clean? if so look up jdm pics on google and see what you like then look up parts at either passwordjdm.com or jdmcarboy.com

 

Na im not going for looks. It looks like a POS as it is. If anything ide go for a light amount of performance to help tolerate driving it. Lol

 

Just leave it stock. Drive it around. Keep your eyes open and see whats out there. Don't just go and mod it up for the sake of modding it up.

If you bought it as a daily driver so that you wouldn't put miles on your other car my suggestion and it's only a suggestion as it is your car is to keep it stock. regular maintenance and drive it decent and it will last you ages. If you want a bit more bite to the old a6 get a decent header and catback exhaust. maybe a K&N air filter. That's about the extent of the mods I would do. Congrats on your first Honda by the way.
