do I want to install new spark plugs?
I just finished installing my typhoon intake, someone told me I should get new set of spark plugs to get better performance, is that true? I have around 19,000 on my car right now. Thanks!
If you have never changed your sparkplugs it wouldn't be a bad idea.
I generally change mine 10-15k, because its so cheap and easy. Stock plugs are supposidly long life plugs, but the longer you use them the more worn they get and your performance does suffer.
It doesn't increase performance, it just restores performance lost due to warn parts.

I also recommend shorter intervals for plugs, especially for higher compression or FI'd cars.
Use NGK ZFR6F-11's.
Pepboys should have them.

You do not need to replace the spark plug yets. It doesn't hurt but it's a waste of money. It's not expensive, about $1.70 each for NGK from your local part store.
hi is a stock car though
I've found that by 15k miles on a B18C1 w/ 10.0:1 CR, the BKR6E-11 coppers already have the electrode rounded off.
Shouldn't need to replace your plugs all that often. Watch for signs though like slow start-up, bogging, and poor gas mileage. If you're OK with those then you're fine.
