Need suggestions for motor build up
My friend and I are going to be rebuilding the motor in his 97 ITR group 2 rally car. Forced induction is not an option (would bump the car to group 5). I was thinking Toda B spec cams, adjustable cam gears, Toda springs, but not sure about pistons, connecting rods, and other little things that are needed.
The motor has to be as reliable as stock. It has to run like a top for 200 miles per event.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Any just for the fun of it a picture from the 2002 Maine Forest Rally where he finished 2 in Group 2 and 22 overall out of the 50 cars that finished.
