I'm not to sure cuz I never did this but you most definatly have to swap the rails or see if theres a kit out there to buy

i think you need to use your civic rails...i seen a guy put the full 08 si interior in his em1. either you have to drill holes in the rails that come on the si seats or replace the rails...i think this is right. there should be a write up on how to do this.

The only way to get the seats in is to seriously modify existing rails/brackets or fabricate them. Perhaps you should consider s2000 seats which swap in more easily.

I put these in my EM1. You need to custom make brackets its the only way. Lucky I have a welder. here are some pics.

ok so by the looks of what you did, looks like you need 2 cross bars going along the 08 seat rails. then you cut each bolt point and reweld it in a new further out location on your new cross bar?

do you have any clearance issues with the center console? how high do the seats sit?

doesnt look very hard to do. simple welding.

also do all the adjusters still work properly with your new fabbed rails?

and are all your bolt points cut from the 08 rail or did u need to cut some from your EM's rails?

errmmm... another question. did you see how they fit before you started modding brackets? how many bolt holes lines up and stuff?

everything fits and functions prefect. they sit the same height as the stock seats. I took the mounting tabs off my ek rails by drilling out the rivets then I test fit everything to make sure it looked good then welded the ek tabs to the crossbars i made up
