91 crx hf/si tranny swap
i just bought a mint 91 crx hf and i have a L3 tranny laying around and i was seeing what do i all need to swap the L3 tranny on to my hf. also will it do any big difference? thanks
Nope, you can use it all. And you will definatly notice a difference in gearing. Much faster acceleration and response in 5th due to sitting at higher rpm's.

does somewhat relate, if i need to post this somewhere else please let me know!
i have a 90 ef with a 91 motor that was put in before i bought it. Sure it was an automatic, seems as the 90 auto tranny was on there.
any way swapped it to si manual put new clutch fly wheel, on and now the clutch doesn't want to engage when i push the petal down.
thought the fly wheel may be on backwards but after looking at another ef with 4 speed seems as its in the right way.
anyone have any suggestions. or have this happen before?
